This is my own personal transformation
As a former corporate professional sitting at a desk all day, I really struggled to stay in shape and prioritize my health with a 9-5 schedule. (more like 8-7 here in NYC)
So naturally, the strategies I learned to drop body fat and build muscle were based around sustainability and fitting into my schedule. I wasn’t going to be able to workout for an hour and a half or prepare 5 meals every day.
Realistically, I had 3-4 days per week for 30-60 minutes to workout and I was often eating lunches out with clients and coworkers.
And this is where I see most trainers have a disconnect with their clients because they can’t necessarily relate to what they’re going through. A typical personal trainer is sitting in the gym all day with plenty of time for their own workouts and to sit down and eat a small portioned healthy meal out of Tupperware every few hours.
So my main goal for the clients I work with is to help them see life-changing improvements in their fitness & health through strategies that they can stick to forever. I work with them to implement an efficient strength training program & flexible nutrition protocol that blends into their lifestyle and helps them minimize body fat & build muscle.
